Hi Gerry, just to let you know your tribute concert was phenomenally good. About 30 musicians played and about 150 people came. I hope you were able to come and see for yourself what a wonder way they and your sons honoured you, There was a drum battle in your honour. Darren and Jamie wrote an instrumental for you in which amazingly you played the drums. There was lots of videos that Darren and Jamie created of you, me and the boys. There was even a video of you doing one of your famous drum solos. Buddy Rich and his big band also appeared playing West Side Story in which your sons played along with their guitars. Your sons did you proud in honouring you with their love, and respect for the wonder father, friend, teacher, band member, drummer, husband and grampy you were. It was a very emotional night and everyone cried. We also raised a lot of money for two charities in you honour. Help Musicians UK and the Lymphoma Research Trust. Everyone loves and remembers you. You are a true legend and inspiration to us all.
