Merry Christmas Gerry,
I hope you had a good one and lots of fun and merriment.
I had a good day Christmas day. I got you a lovely card, and a bouquet of red roses with Christmas foliage. I also got you a very large bunch of assorted pink rose. A pair of stone doves for the garden , some a butterfly hangings . a sparkly white dove and a colourful star for the white Christmas tree the kitchen. I also manged to get some balloons but unfortunately, they all got stuck up the tree behind Flanders garden. I wish i had sent them individually , as this might not have happened. I was rushing a bit as i got up rather later than intended, and was worried about upsetting the boys if I arrived too late. I put out 3 Christmas card that you had given me on previous Christmases. You got me some expensive face cream and some nice chocolaty treats.
I went to Jamie's first and had to get Jamie to put the presents in his car. I then spoke to the girls for a while. Then I went to Darren's, he hid the present in his studio..We had arranged that we would all open our presents together after the Queens speech and meet up on a zoom party. We did this and it worked very well. The kids loved there electric organs along with everything else we bought them. Every one a great time. We gave the boys a battery pack for their computers, a glass light up bulb in remembrance of you and a jigsaw wall hanging in honor of you as well. We also gave them some money.
I was thoroughly spoil. Jamie gave me a huge hampers which is packed with luxurious treats. Lots of difference chocolate, puddings, biscuits, hair products and a device for finding things, which i will find invaluable. Darren got me lots of things too. An echo, a lovely canvas print of a Simpson style caricature of the family band complete with all the signatures. A lovely Christmas flower basket, tin of Irish coffee, crackers, chocolates, chutneys. liquors, bubble bath, screen wash, a bottle of Irish Cream, scented candle and lots more things. Violet gave me a a mug which says "I am one fart away from a poo" which made me laugh, and Austyn gave me a lovely scented candle. Darren also gave me a DVD of all your cine films. This is tremendous and I have just sat an watched 2 hours of it. It made me cry, seeing our past and our happiness together. You look so handsome and happy.
We had a lovely Christmas dinner cooked by Kelly and even Brent and Russell came for dinner. We then had another zooms session at 7.30 when we gave our our tree presents. Then I came home and sat by the fire, with the animations on and had a few whiskies whilst thinking of you, and raising a toast to you.. The only thing that was missing this Christmas was you. You were in our hearts and thoughts all day.
