Merry Christmas Darling. I love and miss you so very much. Its Christmas day and i am missing yo so much, you should be here. You loved Christmas and it is just not the same anymore. You were always so happy, full of fun and surprises. You filled my stockings to the brim every year. I miss sitting by the fire and the Christmas tree having a few drinks and then making mad passionate love under the tree. I have a severely bad back and aching joints at the moment and when i woke up this morning i just cried wanting you by my side so bad. I bought you 14 red roses and a bouquet of roses and lilies. I also got you a silver pair of wings with a message and another one with your picture on it, and a ceramic Christmas tree ornament with a message to my husband saying Dear Husband, love, laughter Christmas times past are the memories of you that will always last. I also got you a a lovely card. You got me a lovely card, some brandy chocolates and two sets of fleecy bedding. I tried to sent yo a red heart balloon today. I had one for you , my Mum, my Dad, Diane , Mick and Peg. I took them to the Weir field thinking that as there were no trees around they might reach yo. Unfortunately as the day was so cloudy the balloons dipped before going up into the sky and still managed to get such up a tree. I am so sorry that you did not get your message again. I went to Jamie's this morning and had a great time. I gave out all our presents to the girls and gave Jamie some chocolate liquors and a box of hot chili sauces. Lindsay a box of bath bubbles and they had a bottle of port. I also put some money in the bank for them. Jamie gave me a huge hamper of chocolate goodies and some dove toiletries and a pair of slippers. I had to leave early as i needed to get home to let Di out and to make sure she was ok. I then went to Darren's and gave out the kids presents. Darren had the same as Jamie and Kelly had the same as Lindsay. They gave me a storage rack for the shed, a fleecy jumper, a wooden stag and hot stone massage and a light and sound sleep machine. and a lot of edible goodies. We then had a fantastic Christmas dinner. It has been a very enjoyable and successful day and I am now sat by the fire with the Christmas tree light on and writing to you. Di is by my side and i am about to have a whisky night cap. I wish with all my heart, body and soul that you were here. We would be having so much fun and contentment. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas in heaven and that you are with our families and friends. I also hope that you were able to come home for Christmas and spend time with me and the boys and grandchildren. I will write again soon when I have more news, but until then I hope you are happy and well and having a good life. I cant wait to be in your loving arms again. Merry Christmas My Darling Gerry, I love and miss you so very much. It's Christmas eve and all the presents are wrapped and ready to deliver tomorrow. I am going to do a doorstep drop off at Jamie's, and then spend the rest of the day at Darren's. I am very sad and thinking of you all the time. We always loved Christmas together and got very excited. We always made love under the Christmas tree, and kissed under the mistletoe. I have not put up many decorations just a few bits of tinsel and few ornaments, the stockings and the animations. I cannot face anymore again this year as it is so very painful being here without you. I will come back tomorrow and sit by the fire with Di and think of you and all our happy Christmases together whilst toasting you with a whisky. Then I shall be alone again for the foreseeable future. The Covid infection is getting out of hand again, and there are now two more strains of it. We are getting nearly 40,000 new cases a day in England and the death rate is nearly 700 people a day. We have been put back into a higher tier starting on Boxing day. This means we cannot go out unless for food, medication or dog walks. I cannot see anyone and have to rely on the telephone for company. The future looks very bleak for everyone. I hope you are happy, loved, back to full health and vitality. I hope you have all the friends and family you desire with you, and that you can do anything your heart desires. I hope you are playing your drums in a great band and having some great parties. I hope you received my love and treasure it, as I do yours. I hope to see you in my dreams again soon. HI Gerry , Happy 69th Birthday. I hope you are having a wonderful birthday and a great party. I wish with hall my heart, body and soul that you were still here. We would be having a spectacular 69 er today. I have sent you a heartfelt heart balloon today. I also got you 15 red roses, a wonderful romantic card. I have planted a red rhododendron and blue bush in you honor. It is so difficult to think of something appropriate. I do hope you like them. Darren popped in today and Jamie is coming over tonight on his way home from work. They have both come to celebrate your birthday. There are load of lovely messages on Facebook for you. Paul the bass player has done a lovely picture of our family band Shred. You are Homer obviously and it does look like you. Everyone is thinking of you and missing you so very much. You are a very popular and much loved person. Life on earth is getting much worse as covid is still raging around the world. Pubs and cinemas are all going out of business now. Very soon there will be nothing left. i just than God and you that I have some money in the bank to help support our wonderful sons through this crisis. I will close now and talk to you again later. Happy New Year my Darling Gerry, Hope you are having a great new life with new adventures. I hope you are happy, loved and well. I hope you saw in the new year and played your drums at a great party. I saw the new year in 2020 at John’s with Jamie and his family. We were in the hot tub to see in the new year. I was thinking of you, and the last time we were at John’s together. I was also thinking of the many happy years we saw in the new year at gigs. Oh how I miss those wonderful days so very much. I am afraid I got a bit drunk. I was drinking pink gin, which I never usually drink as you know. We all had a great time especially the girls Isabelle, Siena and Genevieve. We did not get home until 3am. I went straight to bed and fell asleep immediately. I can’t find my swimming costume today, I must have left it at John’s on his bathroom floor. I will go and collect Di in a moment from Darren’s. Darren was playing a gig in Oxford last night. Our family party went well on Thursday. We all met at the Windmill in Freshbrook. We had a lovely meal gave our traditional tree presents. All the adults got a bit tiddly, except for me. I was offered to be collected and then get a taxi home, but I wanted to get a few bits from the shops. I also did not want to get to tiddly and made a fool of myself in front of everyone. We were all painfully aware that you were missing , but I hope you were watching over us and enjoying it. We gave Austyn some Lego, Violet a Spirograph set, Isabelle a glitter and tattoo set, Sienna a colour in yourself clock, Genevieve a doll with light up wand. Darren had a bottle of Contrau , Jamie a whisky liquor and Kelly and Lindsay a bottle of Prosseco each. Darren gave me a ticket to the Wyvern for a the Shitfaced Shake spear show doing Romeo and Juliet in October. Jamie gave me a spa day with two treatments of my choice in the Village in which used to be the DeVere Hotel. I am truly spoilt again. I have got the car boot fixed now. It cost £226.00 but it had to be done. Austyn and Violet are coming for a sleep over tomorrow. They will see our decorations for the first time. I put them up especially for them, and to honour you. Darren and Kelly are going out on a date night. I think they really need one after the hectic year they have had. I don’t have much more to say at the moment, except I hope you are enjoying your new freedom. Until we meet again always remember that I love you will all my heart, body and soul. Happy New Year Darling. I am missing you so very much. I saw the new year in at home with Di. It was a very boring uneventful evening. The telly was rubbish as usual. I sat with my memories and was very sad. I remembered lots of previous new years eves when we were together. The numerous gigs you played every year. When the boys were young I used to bring them to your gig at midnight, so that we could all wish each other a happy new year and have a new years kiss. The gigs with Wipeout and then Shred. They were truly happy days. Playing a the Harrow at Barry's , the club in Old Town when that down syndrome girl wanted to kiss Jamie. The club in Purton when you were full of jokes and fun. You always loved New Years Eve and were always full of fun, jokes and laughter. You brought such joy to so many people. The parties we had on New Years Day. All I have left now are my memories which are priceless yet painful. Darren played at a club in Old Town last night, and Jamie stayed home with his family. He got his girls up at 11.30 to watch the fireworks on tv, then he had some fireworks in his garden. Di was very frightened of the fireworks last night, and it took a while to settle her down again. She was never frightened of them when you were here. She is frightened on walks now. If she sees other people or dogs in her path she stopped, freezes, and then tries to run back home. I have to put her back on her lead and then she walks normally with me. She has lost a lot of her confidence without you. I must say that I have too. I hate living without you. It was something that I never envisage ever having to do. I don't know what this year will bring but, all I know for certain is that you will not be here. I am dreading this winter as it is so lonely, and unfulfilling without you. We should be having the time of our lives now. Instead you are gone and have missed the luxurious lifestyle we had set out to have. I don't want luxuries anymore, they are pointless without you to share them with. I hope all is well with you. I hope you had a great party last night. There are lots of famous , talented musicians where you are and I hope you all had an amazing party. I hope that you have been able to meet your parents, my parents, Diane, Peg, Uncle Harry, Buddy Rich and many more. I hope you are able to look down on the family and I, to see how we are doing. I hope to see your butterfly in the summer. If is at all possible can we meet again in my dreams. I would love to spent time with you again and perhaps we could make love. I find it very hard to cope without you and our amazing sex life. I hope it is not too long before we are re-united and that you will still want me when I come. Hi Gerry, Its the fourth anniversary since you left us and it has been a very sad and emotional day. It only is such a long time since we have been together but the pain of losing you is as raw as if it was yesterday. We had a bar- b-q this afternoon in your honour and to remember you. We sent you 4 red balloons with our messages, one from me , Darren, Jamie and Barry and Sue, I hope you received them. We also released some butterflies. Darren and Jamie played you Hotel California and Purple Rain. Then we raised a whisky toast to you. I put a notice in the Evening Advertiser as well. Merry Christmas Gerry. We are all missing you soo much. We should be having so much fun together and having the fun times we craved for. I had a tattoo done as a dedication to our love for each other. I have a bespoke shimmering heart with your signature across the middle on my left boob over my heart. The signature was traces from one of the many lovely card you sent me over the years. So I have you writing on my heart within a shimmering heart to signify the fact that my love for you is always burning in my heart. I hope you like it. We have some lovely presents and I also got you a lovely plaque with some heartfelt words, a candle with a message of love for you. A dozen red roses and a bunch of pink roses.I also got a couple of new decorations a lampost with robins on and a deers sat underneath and a little birdhouse with a pair of robins. You gave me some lovely gifts too. A lovely big scarf, some make up, slippers and some lovely scented candles. I have spent a lovely day with the boys. First I went to Jamie and Lindsay and spent 4 hours with them and Isabelle, Sienna and Genevieve. It was magical and we had a lovely festive dinner and I had lots of lovely presents. Then I went to Darren and Kellys and sent another 4 hours with them Austyn, Violet, Brent and Russell. I had another festive dinner with them. We had a great time and lots of fun giving out our presents. Again I was spoilt with lot of lovely gifts. Lynn gave me a memory tree which I have set up in the lounge and I am putting on items of memorabilia and special memories of youand our best times together. It might give me some comfort to look at them. I hope you are ok and having a good time wherever you are and I hope it is magical for you too. I am constantly looking out for signs of you being around I and I have seen a few recently, The little bird that banged on the patio door in the kitchen and then waited for me to go and speak to him. The heart on the glass door of the fire and the message you are writing me on the glass door. I hope you are aware of us all and what we are doing.
