Hi Gerry, it is the 5th anniversary of your passing today. I have been feeling very sad and low. I have been reliving your last day with us. It was an horrific experience for us all. Especially you. I cannot believe it is so long since I last saw you.
I held a b-b-q in your honor today. Darren, Kelly, Austyn, Violet, Jamie, Barry, Sue and Satch came. We all sent you a red balloon with our own personal message to you. Then we release some butterflies. Darren and Jamie played Hotel California and a few other songs to you. Your butterfly came and sat on the b-b-q and listened. We were all delighted to see you. Barry said he would not miss your memorial for the world. We then raised a glass of whisky to you and toasted your honor and memory. You gave all our grandchildren a gift. Austyn had a short sleeved denim shirt which he loved. Violet had a unicorn dress. Unicorns are her favorite. Isabelle and Sienna have a different unicorn dress and Genevieve has a Minnie Mouse dress They were all delighted, especially as they came from you. I do hope that you were able to join us.
I posted a memorial in the evening advertiser for you. Bought you 16 red roses, a string of butterfly solar lights which I have put around the little bridge around the pond. Planted another Paula fushia, Placed another fairy sitting on a crackle ball with colour changing lights by the statue, and put up two colour changing lanterns by the kitchen where our hanging baskets were hung.
Last night I went to the Mecca to see Austyn and Violet perform in their dram group concert. They were superb as usual. Violet got a certificate for being runner up of the most improved student for ballet and Tap.
On Wednesday Darren took me to the Wyvern to see Rock of Ages. It was a fantastic show. You would have loved it.
I do hope you are happy and well and having a great time where you are. I love and miss you so very much my darling.
Until we meet again, always remember I always have, and always will love you with all my heart forever and always.
All my love forever and always,
Maggie XxX
