Hi Gerry, Merry Christmas Darling.
I am just updating you on Christmas here. I bought you 46 red roses and some yellow spray chrystantumums. Send you a message on a red balloon with a heartfelt message of love to you. Gave you two Christmas cards with heartfelt messages of love and longing for you. I also bought you a lovely ornament with two butterflies on. One the top is a red admiral your butterfly. It has a lovely message saying “When you see a butterfly, to brighten up your day. You know I am here with you, and here I will always stay.” This is so appropriate because you come and visit me every day during the summer for months and stay with me for hours. I know it is you coming to see me. I love you and miss you so very much and it is so comforting to sit with you knowing you want to be here with me.
You bought me a replacement electric toothbrush the oral B trizone 5000. The original one does not hold its charge anymore and needed replacing. Although I think the problem might be with the plug adaptor, so will have to replace that as well. I have put out 3 of the lovely Christmas cards you have given me over the years, to make me feel that you are still here and still love me.
I spent Christmas day buy taking Di over to Darren’s and having our present giving. We gave Darren and Kelly some money and a silver family tree. Darren also got a bottle of Santa’s butt. We got Austyn a bop it and a chemistry set. Violet got some Aqua beads arts and craft set and a spiral painting set. They also had a smart adventure globe from us to share. It is very educational and lots of fun.
Darren and Jamie bought me a replacement 3 phone set as our is knackered. The two upstairs phones wont work at all, the answer machine downstairs does not work, and the buttons are difficult to use now. Darren also made me a CD of Austyn and Violet singing a Christmas song in his new studio. Its fabulous and you would love it. I also got a Christmas jumper, two robin baubles for the tree in memory of you. 6 bath bombs, shower and bath gel, liqueurs and a bottle of Irish Cream, 2 candles, One large one in a jar and a small one. And a few other items as well.
Then I went to John’s to be with Jamie and his family. Jamie gave me a luxury hamper with lots of goodies. I had a bottle of red wine, chocolates, liquors, bob bons, Lovely crunch biscuits, cakes, Christmas puddings, fudge, 2 nougat bars, chestnuts, toiletries and a lot more. How lucky am I.
We gave Jamie and Lindsay some money a silver family tree and Jamie had a bottle of Santa’s butt. We got Isabelle a mermaid tank which you grow your own mermaids, and a nail bar kit. Sienna had a pottery set and some Aqua beads. Genevieve had a light up talking Peppa pig and a big doll which talks, cries and does lots of other things. Isabell and Sienna also had the Adventure smart globe to share.
We had a lovely Christmas dinner then I went back to Darren’s for another dinner. I ended up staying over for the night and we had a whisky toast to you and reminisced for the evening. I got home around midday today. I am knackered, and stuffed full of food and booze. I will need to go on a diet now.
Tomorrow we are all going to the Windmill in Freshbrook, for our traditional tree present giving. We will all have a nice meal and a great time. The kids will especially enjoy being all together again. I wish with all my heart that you were still here. You are missing out on so very much. It breaks my heart to think of what you and we are missing out on. I do hope you are watching over us and can join us. We love to feel you around us and to know that you are near.
On Saturday I have been invited to Carol and Rick for lunch.
