Hi Gerry,
I am loving you and missing you like crazy. Last night Jamie had a surprise 40th birthday party at Level 3. It was really great. You would have loved it. He was totally bowled over and had no idea at all. Lindsay had arranged for all his best friends and One machine members. Antony, Gerry Moss, Richard, Chris, Garry and lots of other friend and family. He thought he was going to see a tribute band and Darren had arranged a video of the band and music to coincide with it. Everyone was facing the stage and then Surprised Jamie with the visual and music to happy 40th birthday Jamie. Everyone turned and sang to him. Darren had worked really hard for months getting the music and organising the bands gig list. He also compiled a big red This is Your Life book. It had pictures of Jamie from birth to the current day. Including growing up, birthday, holiday, Christmases, fun days, school days, college Bimm, his wedding, graduation and family pictures with his three daughters. It also contains messages from people who wanted to add something personal. Darren wrote one and I wrote one on our behalf. Of course, it was not as good as you would have done it but I did my best. All in all it was a successful night with great music and good company. Then Darren had booked a travel lodge for him and Jamie for the night. That is were most of the guest were also staying which would mean extra time together as they intended to have a few more drinks there after the party. They would also all be able to have breakfast together and carry one chatting.
Kelly took me in and brought me home which meant I could have a drink. I ended up having two pints of Kronenberg. I don’t usually drink that much lager, but it was a long night.
During the night whilst sleeping you came to me in my dreams. I was in a single bed a Mums house in the little bedroom. I felt someone get into bed, nudging me over. At first, I could not see you. Then you appeared and I was ecstatic. You said that you wanted to be will me again and spend another night together. I asked how this was possible. You said that you were great friends with the higher sprit, and he would allow you to come and visit you just once as you were both aware of how much I missed you. Also the fact that I talk to you every morning and every night before going to bed. He did however say that if you did come there would be grave consequences for you after wards, if you came again. This had been backed up by other spirits. You came, and said you thought he might be lenient as you were such good friends. Anyway, you felt it was worth the risk. We spent a wonderful night together making love and talking. I wish it had really happened. Then when it was time for you to go, you changed and went quite and still. I expected you to fade from view and you did start to. Then all of a sudden you came back. The higher spirit had decided that you should come home, for good. Neither of us could believe it. You were coming back to life as perfect as before. No cancer, no sickness or disabilities, just perfect. How happy we both were that we could resume our life together again. Sadly, I woke up to find it was just a dream., but it was wonderful whilst it lasted. Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to come to me for such a wonderful night.
Well I don’t have anymore news at the moment, but I will write and let you know how Jamie’s actual birthday goes on Tuesday. We are all meeting up for a family meal out and I will give him his presents then. I will tell you what they are when I get home. I don’t want Jamie reading this and finding what his presents are.
I hope you were there last night and had a great time. Maybe that is why you chose last night to come to me. It does not seem possible that he was born 40 years ago. I was thinking of you all night and remembering your memorial concert as well and all the happy times we spent together.
