Hi Gerry, I love and miss you so very much. I thought I would let you know what is happening here. There is a worldwide virus called coronavirus. It has attacked the entire world and most of it is in total lockdown. This has never happened before and the entire world is in total shock and fear. People are dying of it in the thousands. It is very contagious and we all now have to self-isolate for at least four months. This is proving very difficult and food shortages are horrendous. All schools, colleges and universities have shut down for the foreseeable future. Most businesses have shut, and people are being asked tow work from home where possible. Times are very grim here on earth. All travel abroad, public transport has ceased around the work. Pubs, bars, clubs and Theatres are all shut. All public gathering and festivals are now cancelled. Businesses are collapsing in droves and the entire future of the world population is in danger of being extinct. The news is constant and confirmed cases and deaths are doubling every few days. Darren and Jamie will find it particularly hard as they are self-employed. I think Jamie will be alright as BIMM is currently paying him still. Darren, however, is really worried as all his income has ceased for the foreseeable future. He is trying to set up sky and online lessons. It is a saving grace that we saved money and that we can help bail out our family to keep them safe and financially stable. It is very hard not being able to see anyone. Darren and Jamie are still coming to see me and do shopping for me and jobs around the house as well as keeping me company and my spirits up. I don’t know how much longer we will be able to do this though. We will still be able to phone each other, skype or do what’s app video calls. It would certainly help if the weather got warmer and sunny. Then we could at least do some gardening or just enjoy being in the garden and enjoy it and the fresh air. I will write again soon to keep you updated. I wish you were here, then we would have all the time in the world to just indulge and enjoy each other. I hope it is better where you are and that you are happy, loved, fit and well. I hope you are free to indulge in anything your heart desires. I can’t wait to be in your arms again. This might be sooner rather than later if I catch this virus. Until we met again, please always remember that I always have and always will love you with all my heart, mind, body and soul. You were my world and my life, and I am so very proud of you and all your achievements. It was an honour and privilege to be your wife. You were my life. All my love forever and always, Maggie XxX
