I love and miss you so very much. It is December the 8th 2021. It is getting cold and very wintry now. Christmas is drawing very near now. I have almost finished the present buying. It has been a nightmare trying to know what to get everyone. But I have concentrated on getting our 5 grandchildren's presents.
Di is much better now. Thank you so very much for the miracle you have preformed on her. She is eating well now and gaining back her weight. She loves and misses you so very much.
The solar panels now switch on every other day. I still don't know what is wrong with them. The guy I had to fix them really fucked up. It cost £120 for the staging for him to get on to the roof. He messed about for a while with the cables and then said they were fixed on too tight and he would need to get the full scaffolding, another pair of hands and take off all the panels and sort out the cables. I was horrified. He did not check any of the connections which he was supposed to do. Then he asked to look out of the sky light and promptly broke it by using force to try and open it wider. I was beside myself with anger. He then said that he could not see anything wrong and he was adamant that the skylight was already broken. Then he said that he could not fix the problem and there would be not further charge for his labour.
Then he went outside, moved the staging across near the skylight. I went outside to see what he was doing but he was already on his way down. Then he went back in the loft and looked out the skylight again and said, "look I must have missed that when I last looked. You have a broken panel. That is one of your problems." Then he said he would need to disconnect it so that it did not corrode and defunct the other panels on the system. This he did. I am convinced that he actually went on to the roof and smashed the panel in order to try and fob me off, and charge me for the fix.. He was gutted when it did not solve the problem. The following day he text me a and asked if he could come and disconnect the broken panel from itself. I don't know why he did that , so I asked the boys for advice. As they were both unavailable i went and spoke to Geoff. He said he would come in when the guy was here so that he could observe what was going on for me. This seemed to get the guy's back up. He was annoyed that he had to explain everything again to Geoff. After he left he then sent me a text with the full payment of £400. for his labour along with another estimate of £1250 for the next repair.
As I was so very angry with him, I went to Darren's and we concocted a reply to his email. I explained that not only had he not fixed the problem, but had broken the skylight. He came back for his second visit at his own request and he had previously said he would not be charging me. I offered to pay him £100 for his time. He then replied angrily that I could keep my money. He did not want me to contact him ever again as he did not need clients like me. So that was the end of that. I will just carry on switching them on whenever necessary. They seem to work ok during the summer months, so I guess its a weather thing. I am just one panel down now, but they are still generating well. I feel that you are looking out for me and helping sort the problem for me. You always help me and make thing right for me. Thank yo so very much. it means the world to me to know that you still love me and want to look after me, and you are doing a superb job as always. You are still a perfectionist as always.
I hope you are ok and having fun. I do hope you are looking down on us and enjoying seeing the family, and being with us. I am seeing a lot of the grandchildren at the moment. Austyn and Violet have been stopping every weekend for the last month. Jamie is also coming over with the girls most weekend now. It is so nice to have them here especially when all five grandchildren are here together. I wish with all my heart, body and soul that you were here to enjoy them too.
