i love and miss you so very much. Its Boxing day today. I have just spent it watching tv by the fire and chilling after yesterday. I think i over ate as i had Christmas dinner at Johns and a then another at Darren's. I had a nice day but it was not like when you were here. The excitement and magic disappeared with you. You were truly my Father Christmas, and i miss my stocking being filled every Christmas night.
I bought you a lovely Christmas card, sent you up a red heart balloon with my loving message to you. I also bought you a bunch of red roses, a red robin bauble for the Christmas tree, and a pink sparkly stiletto shoe along with a heart shape with two red robins like lovers sitting in the heart. It was so hard to try and find something suitable this year for you. I will try to do better next year.
You bought me two jumpsuits. They are very stylish , and some day and night face cream from Olay. We got Di some bones with bacon on.
I took Di to Darren's and then went on to John's where we had diner and presents. We gave Jamie girls a personalised Disney world autograph album. Jamie and Lindsay, a bottle of flavoured gin and $25. They spoilt me rotten with a new black handbag, slippers, a calming light changing aromatherapy diffuser. Then they gave me a huge hamper with lots of goodies especially chocolates, wine, Dove toiletries, cakes, biscuits and lots of puddings. It must have cost a fortune.
Then i went to Darren's for a second Christmas dinner. We gave Austyn and Violet a personalised Disney autograph book. Darren and Kelly a bottle of Baileys and $25. They spoilt me rotten too. They gave me a bottle of Baileys, a pair of garden secateurs and a fantastic crystal heart with a 3D engraved picture of you and Di when she was a very small puppy. It sits on a colour changing light stand. It was very emotional to receive and it is so nice to have that memory and to see you so happy with Di. I will sit it on the mantle piece above the fire and look at it every day. They want me to take it with me to America so that we can be together and i can see you everyday, as I always sleep with your ashes and I cant take them to America. Very thoughtful and loving idea. They also gave me a stocking full of goodies. Chocolates, nuts, 2 lots of drinking chocolate, body cream and lots of goodies.
I am truly blessed with out loving sons to take good care of me and look after me as they promised you.
We are all going together tomorrow to the Windmill to have our family celebration. I do hope you will be joining us there. We always raise our glasses and drink a toast to you, but wish with all our hearts that you were still here.
I hope you are able to celebrate Christmas in your world and that you have lots of friends and family to enjoy it with, and have lots of fun.
I will write again soon and update you with the family antics.
