I am just dropping you a line to say that I had my front teeth fixed on Tuesday. I saw the dentist on Monday and then rang the private dentist at Seven Fields to get my front teeth fixed. After having the gum treatment my upper right tooth had moved forward and was falling out prior to the gum treatment I had last year. It had left me with shrunken gums and there was a large gap and elongated tooth with shrunken gums looked dreadful. I had previously consulted the cosmetic dentist and had a quote for the teeth. I had decided as it was so ridiculously expensive to have it done as a treat for my 70th Birthday. So I had it done as a special gift from you. Thank you so very much for this. I know you would have approved and insisted I had it done. it was not painful and it looks a 1000 times better. The gap was filled and something was pushed under the gum and then the tooth was filed.
I have just returned from Specsavers. I had to have an emergency appointment as last week i started seeing a black net curtain in the corner of my right eye. There were also a series of bright flashes for several days. This frightened me and I was referred as urgent. The appointment was this morning at 9.30am. I had to get Steph, our neighbour to take me in to town. I was told that I could not drive as I had to have drops in my eyes. I sat there for ages. after the test were done I was told that it was degenerate maculation. In other words old age. The eye gets very dry and pulls the fluid out of the center of the eye. My vision is now much better and there is no treatment required. It is supposed to settle on its own eventually. I could not bus into town as there is extensive road works going on in Wroughton, and the usual bus stops are not available.
Austyn and Violet are coming tomorrow for a sleep over. Darren and Kelly are going out for there anniversary treat that we paid for. They will go into town for a nice meal and a few drinks and taxi home.
Jamie and his father in-law John came over Tuesday evening to discuss with me the ins and outs of the power of attorney, and moving around our assets so that we cant be stripped of everything by the government if I need to go into a care home sometime in the future. It was very enlightening. Ii have to do these legal power of attorney in order to protect our home, money and also my future health and welfare. I want the boys to make the decisions if I am not capable, and not the social services, government or care people and doctors to decide my fate. Life has become ridiculous of late. The government want to fleece everyone when they get old. They have effectively cut the state pension and try to snatch everything one owns if they become ill or die.
The weather here is still lousy. Its cold and very windy.
Di is still with me thanks to your divine intervention and love. She is eating better now and loves to go for her short walk around the back of the shops. We cant go too far at the moment , but will try to increase the distance when the weather gets warmer. She smell rather bad though, she stinks of fish all the time. I don't know why. She has been to the groomers and her fur is short and clean. I think there might be an underlying cause but she will be going back to the vets next month.
I don,t have much to say now. I hope all is well with you. I hope you are happy, free and in excellent health. I hope you are having fun doing whatever floats your boat. I can't wait to see you as the red admiral butterfly again. Please come and visit me in my dreams again soon. i want us to make mad passionate love again.
