Hi Gerry, I love and miss you so very much. Time does not heal or change anything, it still hurts as much today as it did the day you left this world.
It was Darren and Kelly's 15th Wedding Anniversary yesterday. I have been remembering his wedding day. We had such a wonderful time all together. Time has flown by so very quickly. We gave them a lovely card, a purple rhododendron plant and put £50 in their bank account.
Today is is mine and Isabelle's birthday. Isabelle will be 11 today and i will be 71. I cannot believe that i have had 9 birthdays since you left us. Is does not seem possible that you have been gone so long. It is so terribly unfair that you were stuck down so badly and agonisingly.
I am remembering all the wonderful birthdays we spent together and how much you spoilt me with gifts, holidays, special treats and meals out. Especially my 60th birthday when you sprang that surprise meal at the Oriental Express for me with all my friends and family. Then of course we always made mad passionate love. Oh how i long for you to be here again.
I have just returned from the Whichell Inn with Darren and Steph our neighbour for a lovely steak and wine dinner. Steph gave me 4 lots of scented candles and a lovely 3d butterfly card. Darren gave me a lovely card and paid for my meal. Apparently my birthday present is a joint one from the whole family and has not yet arrived. I can't see Isabelle today as it is a school day and Jamie is out working until late this evening. Jamie has suggested that we meet up over the weekend. We have bought her two computer games , got her a lovely card and put £20 in her bank account.
last Sunday i went to the Arts Centre to see Isabelle and Genevieve performing with their drama school. They were both amazing.
The kids break up tomorrow from school for the Easter holidays and on Monday the whole family is going to the Wyvern theatre to watch Isabelle and Violet performing in the summer panto Rapunzel. Then we are going out to have a meal and celebrate Isabelle's birthday. We will probably go to a restaurant that specialises in fancy puddings and sweets as Isabell only eats cheese sandwiches still. We will probably give her her presents then.
I took Di to the groomers yesterday. She looks like a totally different dog now. She is clean and her old winter fur is gone and you can see her legs and feet again. She looks amazing. I have given up on dog food for her now except half a tub of dog pate for breakfast. She just eats what i eat now and she is loving it and getting stronger and gaining weight again. I also seem to have her eyes infection under control. She also goes our occasionally for a short walk. She just needs to stop wetting a pooing in the house.
Although is it spring now and the clocks have changed onto British summer time the weather is still lousy. Cold wet, cloudy and very windy.
I am looking forward to seeing your butterfly again. I do hope that you will still be coming home to me this summer. You make my heart swell with love, pride and total admiration for you. You are so happy, bubbly and excited, i know instantly that it is you coming to visit me.
Please come tonight and make mad passionate love to me again. I love an miss yo so very much.
I don't have much more to say now except to wish yo well and hope that all is well in your world. I hope you are having the time of your life and living the life of your dreams.
